DESTINY’S CHILD SUPER BOWL

Not to stir up any feelings regarding this year’s Superbowl outcome, I’m going to skip ahead to what I think was the real winner of the evening–Destiny’s Child Super Bowl halftime show reunion and their fabulous leather-and-lace ensembles.

Most of these fabulous jaw-droppers were designed by Rubin Singer, who started sketching the outfits back in November (Kelly Rowland was the only “Child” to go rogue in an Emilio Pucci bodysuit). Singer’s designs were based on his Fall 2013 collection that pays homage to Norse mythology with a focus on the powerful woman (the perfect fit for Queen B).

While I don’t expect you to go traipsing around in leather leotards, you can at least take some style cues from this fashionable trio. Take a look at our suggestions to become your own showstopper:
