TAYLOR SWIFT GLAMOUR MAGAZINE COVER
Taylor Swift graces the cover of November issue of Glamour Magazine and looks as beautiful as ever. Recently Taylor Swift did an interview with Katie Couric (interview below) where she was openly honest and sincere. She spoke beautifully about life and what she believes are her values as an artist. She spoke about the importance of happiness for her above all and not a need to grow up quickly. Refreshing to hear from an artist her age where artist often fall into the “gimmicks”. They fall into the pressures of being overtly sexy as a means to sell records. It is also refreshing to see that in this case talent outshines that need. And in Taylor Swift’s world she’s content to be herself whatever that entails and she doesn’t fall prey to the gossip tabloids or what is said about her.
Taylor Swift is the true definition of a role model for young girls in the world unfortunately there are many artist young girls look up to that do not set the right examples. Don’t misunderstand one shouldn’t live their life for anyone else but you shouldn’t put all your dirty stuff purposely out there in front of your camera lens doing drugs and being raunchy when you know young girls look up to you. Be a little more socially responsible and keep it private. But more on Glamour.
On the Glamour Interview:
This is what Taylor had to say:
On her friendships: “I met Emma when I was 17, and I met Selena when I was 18. So they’ve experienced all of this with me, and they’ve also experienced their own amazing success, and somehow through all of it, we’ve stayed close.” Glamour
“I think some people think it’s just apple pie and sunshine and sprinkles and ponies. Which is just funny. But I never feel the need to go out and make some grand statement that I’m dark and twisty and complicated, because I’m not that either. It’s just not as simple as ponies and rainbows, though I do love ponies and rainbows.” Glamour
